Dr Scott Church, dental surgeon
The surgeon you meet at your consultation is the one who does your surgery, and the one who sees you afterwards.
Background
Dr Church is a dental surgeon originally from Canada. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Management at the University of Lethbridge, Canada. His surgical training includes advanced surgery and guided bone regeneration with Professor Richard Chan, oral surgery with Dr Lydia Lim, periodontal and implant surgery with Professor Tino Mercado, and implantology and surgical mentorship with Nobel Biocare. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in digital orthodontics.
What he does
Digital implant planning, guided implant surgery, bone and sinus grafting, full-arch reconstruction, complex wisdom teeth removal and surgical extractions, with oral sedation, IV sedation and general anaesthetic available. He has performed thousands of surgical procedures and plans, places and restores implants himself rather than dividing the work between clinicians.

Why he does it this way
“Most of the problems I see in implant work come from handovers — one person plans, another places, a third restores, and nobody owns the result. I consult, plan, operate and review. If something needs adjusting, you are talking to the person who did it. And because I do every surgery myself, I take on a limited number of full-arch cases each month rather than as many as the calendar allows.” — Dr Scott Church
Where he works
New consultations, 3D scans and IV-sedation surgery are booked at Seven Hills, Western Sydney (Wednesdays 12–6pm; video consultations Wednesdays 7:30–8:30pm by appointment). Surgery under general anaesthetic is done at Bond Day Hospital, Bella Vista, with a hospital anaesthetist, and is arranged after your consultation. Dr Church also consults at Hugh Fleming Dentistry, Mosman (Tue, Thu, Fri) and Grace Dental, Bonnyrigg (Mon).
Registration
Registered dental practitioner with the Dental Board of Australia (AHPRA). Individual results vary; all surgical and dental procedures carry risks, which are discussed with you at your consultation and confirmed in writing.
Two ways to find out
Watch the free 45-minute webinar first, or book a $99 online consultation and put your questions to Dr Church directly. The $99 is credited in full to your treatment and refunded if you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before. Dr Church does every surgery himself, so full-arch surgery dates are limited each month.
